Affinity does not actively audit our client' GLs.

Support for clients who still use the GL executable

Some clients still use an older version of Affinity GL. 😬 This is an executable file that sits outside of Affinity. While we don’t support it, we try to encourage clients to move to Affinity GL. This move would be managed as a new implementation, because we cannot just ‘copy and paste’ the executable config into Affinity, and we also need to create the required GL export files.

Support for clients who still use ProServer GL

At the time of writing, only a few clients use the old ProServer GL. Just like the GL executable, we don’t support it and we encourage clients to move to Affinity GL.

Support for PMS clients

What we do

Provide incident support if GL export files cannot be generated.
Provide change request support for GL export file specifications during the client project.
Provide training on running and managing a GL in Affinity.

What we don't do

The following are the sole responsibility of the client:

Cost centres and pay elements masterfiles maintenance in Affinity.
GL accounts and groups maintenance in Affinity.
GL account mapping to cost centres and pay elements in Affinity.
Running the GL, generating export files, balancing and reconciliation, checking reports, resolving unmapped GL accounts.
Interpreting data outputs such as reports and spreadsheets, and any calculated values.
Investigation of issues relating to GL balancing or account mapping.
Requesting a change to any part of their GL setup (they must submit a formal change request to us).
