Pre-defined leave types in Affinity

The Affinity system provides for six leave types that can hold a balance/calculate accruals and entitlements. Four of these are predefined, and are used for standard leave types in both Australia and New Zealand:

  • Sick Leave

  • Annual Leave

  • Long Service Leave

  • RDO (AU) or Alternative Leave (NZ)

The remaining two leave types are called Leave D and Leave E by default (don't worry, you can change their names!). They can be either configured and used for optional or agreed leave types, or they can be used to expand the config of the four predefined leave types by adding extra stages to them.
