When and why we do cleardowns
Just before a new client or pay point goes live, we need to clear pay run data that was imported and processed from the parallel pay runs out of their Affinity system. This process is known as a 'cleardown' and it must be completed before the client processes their first live payroll.
Before you begin
Cleardown tasks must be done in the order they appear in this guide:
Prerequisite tasks.
ProServer cleardown tasks.
Affinity cleardown tasks.
Post-cleardown tasks.
Checklist
We need a record of each pay point having been cleared down, so download the checklist below. If there are multiple pay points being cleared down on the same day, use the same checklist. When you have completed all of the checklists, store them in the relevant project directory.
